∙ 11y agoThe advantage of suspension bridge is it has both the benefit of fixed support and hinged support. If the bridge is continuous then slight settlement of one support will cause a huge increase of negative moment in another support. If the bridge is simply supported then the positive moment will be huge. Suspension bridge has the advantage over these two problem.
