In education, social studies include history, political science, economics, sociology and other disciplines related to human society.
Economics is a collection of thoughts and principles that are derived from other sciences. Economics, sociology and politics are interrelated as these sciences make an impact on the lives of people and their society.
Other subjects in social science include sociology, psychology, anthropology, political science, economics, geography, and history. Each of these disciplines focuses on different aspects of human behavior, society, culture, and interactions, providing unique perspectives and insights on various social phenomena.
Economics, the study of how to locate resources, is related to the social sciences, natural sciences, and humanities. Economics is important in the study of political science, when studying the structure and functions of governments and how they relate to each other. Economics is related to history when studying imperialism, class conflicts, labor, and historic economies.
Political science deals heavily with all other Social Sciences, especially: criminology, economics, education, government, linguistics, international relations, geography, history, law, and psychology.
The free-for-all element that there are always variables that cant be accounted for. There is more that you dont know in each so it becomes a science of predictions. I would predict that in our lifetime the phrase 'social science' will become extinct. I have spent the last 15 years, up until 2 years ago, thinking about said subject, and the whole thing feels like a fairly decent summer camp experience. ie, no real resolution, and you always want more, and you didnt learn anything while you were there. It is more obscure than philosphy.
