If you like dumb down graphics & playing first person shooters on a gamepad then consoles are good. Honestly you aren't a gamer unless you game on a PC for one simple reason. Keyboard & Mouse trump game controller any day of the week. That is why if you play a game like BF3 on a console you can only play other gamers on consoles in online play. Keyboard & mouse is way more accurate and you can customize your whole setup. Also on a PC you can build yourself a monster gaming rig that could blow ten PS3's worth of hardware out of the water any day of the week. Graphics on PC games are always better. So are framerates as well as the very important issue of ping time when you are playing online games. If i have a ping of 10ms and you have a ping of 75-100ms i'll kill you b4 you get me 9 times outta ten. If I were you I would consider buying a decent PC rig and just keep your consoles around for sports games or crap like that.
