∙ 13y agoAdvantages: Touchscreen, keyboard pops up when needed, no mouse, lightweight, portable, easy to use- even if you are not familiar with apple products.
Disadvantages: The screen will be covered in fingerprints, there is no place for cd/DVDs, just like an iPod touch- drop it enough and it will start to fail, screen can be scratched up easily.

∙ 10y agoThere are many advantages of an iPad such as audiobook, so you can buy an audiobook for about $10 and the real book is $25, it is also better than a library because you can keep it and you don't have to ruin the community by going all the way there and back for some books you have to be "so careful" with. An iPad also has the internet, you can listen to music, and play games. I truly recommend it.
