The chamois (an antelope) and the ibex (a wild goat) are native to the Alps, but are rare. Hunting is regulated strictly. there may be more but i cant be bothered to find them, also i do believe farmers let their cattle pasture on the upper tundra regions of the alps because it is very much like already prepared land

Ibex, Red Deer, Chamois ( Like a goat), Nuthatch (A Native Bird), Marmots, and foxes. There are no bears in the Swiss Alps because they where killed of in 1904. The wolves where etinct before that because of local farmers. The closest bear sighting was in Southeast Swiss Alps, coming out of Austria.

There are a few different animals that live in the Alps. One of these is the Alpine Marmot. Others are the red squirrel, brown hare, Fat dormouse, Alpine Ibex, Chamois, the common shrew, pine marten, and the eagle owl.
