What are the benefits and hazards of technology?

There are too many Pros [benefits] and Cons [hazards/problems] too count but ill give a few!

Pro and Con: Most all technology are big time wasters. A computer, like what I'm using for instance, can help by answering your question with a person's free time, but also i could be doing something else like playing an ultra-violent video game on the computer.

Pro: Technology can save your life, like calling 911, or using a emergency hotline in a car like OnStar.

Con: When buying things, giving information too strangers, or doing absolutely nothing [if you've done something like those on the same computer in the past], unless your computer is secure and protected with firewalls and anti-virus programs and other stuff like that, you have a little, but still somewhat of a risk of information stolen, identity theft, Credit card number(s) stolen, but don't get paranoid about that, just watch what you give and say, and know what sites to trust or what not, and you'll be fine!

Pro: As you know, many people do their work on computers, and its helped many people do their work, like police, insurance agents, even weather forecasters!

Con: Physically, it can hurt some people in assortments of ways, serious injuries are rare, but still can happen.

Common: Hurts eyes when using for a long time non-stop; can cause headaches due too using too long; strains by typing too much (I'm experiencing it right now) ; and many other small problems.

Rare; same with Video Games, i think 1 in 4000 people can have a seizure due too flashing lights, I'm not a doctor, but please read the epilepsy warning on all electronics if someone is first trying out a electronic; there's only a few more, and if your very concerned with this matter, please search the complete list up.

Awesome Pro: Almost everything is made simpler with any technology, From Watching your favorite movie on your computer, too managing your bank account with an iPod, its a great thing too have when your limited on time or equipment!

Horrible Con: But you know with all those great pros and small cons comes one Whopping, Huge, MotherLoad of a Con, and its the last thing you'd think, and almost everybody has this problem, 1 word: Addicting. Once you do, you'll probably get more frustrated, stay inside a lot, and sometimes get hungry and eat too much while using the computer.
