You would need to have been on the pill for at least one cycle before the risk of pregnancy is no longer a threat, therefore 2 1/2 months is more than sufficient protection. If, however, you mean 2 1/2 days, then yes, one could fall pregnant. It is still possible to become pregnant even when on the pill for many cycles. The prevention rate is statistical and no matter how small the chance of getting pregnant, do YOU want to be in the small percentage?
If it has been takebn properly, very slim. of one hundred women taking the pill correctly for a year only one of them would get pregnant. Or to put it another way, if you took the pill correctly you would get pregnant once in 100 years. Good chances of them getting pregnant. The pills take longer than that to reach full strength and even after they reach full strength they are not fully effective. I have seen several friends get pregnant while taking their pills everyday. Best bet is to take the pills and every single time wear a condom. Just a quick note on the chance of getting pregnant. The chance is 1 pregnance for every 100 sexual events. So if you have sex 100 times you will get pregnant while on the pill. Not 100 years, 100 times. If you have sex every day that would be within 4 months...guaranteed.
If you have missed all the pills in your packet then yes, i would consider using starting a new pack and using another form of contreception for 7 days.
About the same as getting a VD. Protect yourself and your man. if you've been taking the pill properly (in other words - taking it every day, at the same time every day, etc.) less than 1%
If she's taking the pill according to instructions that risk is very, very small.
If one stops taking the Pill, it is usually common to be able to achieve pregnancy the next day or so. That is the reason why the Pill must be taken daily.
Oh yes you can. The fact you were only on it a month means it was just getting effective and you HAVE to keep taking it to have it WORK. These are not magic and require a daily pill everyday.
Yes you can definitely become pregnant while taking the pill. I am proof of that and I never missed a dose. :) If you are pregnant you must stop taking the pill.
aboslutely!
Yes birth control pills aren't effective until you complete one full month of taking them.
The traditional birth control pill does not pose any risk to a developing fetus even while you are on it (that is, the pill is not 100% reliable, and if by some small chance you get pregnant while you are on it, then the baby will not be harmed by the fact that you are taking the pill), so all the more so a month after you've stopped taking it, it's fine to try to get pregnant.
No you aren't. It would take for you to be off the pill at least a month. Start taking your pill at the same time everyday so you won't forget.
Yes, but if you have been taking the pill like prescribed, you probably aren't pregnant. make sure you are pregnant before stopping the pill otherwise you will be pregnant pdq
Im not sure I understand your question. But if you meant one pill out of the whole pack that month yes you can.
After you stop the pill, normal fertility will resume in 2-4 weeks, so you can get pregnant in the first month after stopping the pill.
Taking the birth control pill lowers the risk of pregnancy. Not taking the birth control pill does not lower the risk of pregnancy. You are more likely to get pregnant when you are not taking the birth control pill.
yes you have to keep taking the pill that's the only way your protected. if you stop taking the pill you can get pregnant.
Ask for a pill with more estrogen.
