Of course, a "good school" is a very subjective judgment, but Northeastern University has a solid reputation, especially in the areas of engineering, criminal justice, and journalism. ∙ 14y agoBoston University and Northeastern University are two different schools located in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. They were both commuter schools for many years but are now both considered to be research Universities and have national reputations in some areas of study.
Each has a different history and their campuses are in different areas, with different "feels" to them. Boston University has about twice the number of students and faculty as does Northeastern.
