the bad thing about a school crossing pelican is that when you get out of school and want to mess around you can't, because if you do the teachers will come out with all this bull that we are degrading the school. and that when we embarrass ourselves in our school uniform we are not only embarrassing ourselves but the whole school and everybody associated with the school.
German school children have to get to school earlier, but then get to go home at lunchtime. They also have to go to school on a Saturday- poor them!
