One disadvantage of the Dewey Decimal Classification system is its limited capacity to accommodate new subjects and interdisciplinary topics. Another disadvantage is that it can be complex and difficult for users to navigate, especially those unfamiliar with the system. However, a benefit is that it is widely used and recognized in libraries worldwide, providing a consistent organizational structure for library collections.
