That is a very vague question, so I will try to answer it best I can. The most common used drug in the United States, and in most places through the world is marijuana, commonly known as pot, weed, Mary Jane, chronic etc. The short term effects of use are usually; feeling like your are in a euphoric state, relaxation, dry mouth, hunger, loss of coordination and depth perception. The long term effects are debatable, but to tell you the truth there really are no fatal negative effects. Some claim that you will become slower, and this may be true. Brain cells may be killed. But for the most part it will most likely not be detrimental to your life. Also marijuana does not contain an addictive gene, contrary to popular belief.
Cocaine is a completely different matter though. It is addictive. Can cause hallucination's and will basically cripple your life. It will make you paranoid. I advise you don't ever do any other drugs apart from marijuana.
Not all illegal drugs are harmful to the human body. Some of them are known to do absolutely no damage at all, while others are completely destructive to the brain or other tissues.
1. Smoking, whether it is legal or illegal stuff, always damages the lungs.
2. Snorting damages tissues in the nose.
3. Some drugs make people numb, so they hurt themselves intentionnally.
4. Some drugs, mostly stimulants, are appetite suppressants. People who take a lot of them sometimes just forget to eat.
5. Some drugs are addictive and people will do anything just to get them. That may mean stop taking care of themselves, go into prostitution, end up on the streets, etc.
6. You will snore when you sleep and slap your dad
This varies widely depending upon the drug, the dose, the route of administration, comorbidities and overall health status of the person.
You'll have lots of health problems in your brain, lungs, etc.
