They're all around you every day. If you ever see any object that is not moving in a straight line at constant speed, then you are witnessing the effects of force.

When the forces balance, the net force is 0, and the object does not accelerate. When one force is larger than another on the same object, you get a net force, meaning the object will accelerate.

This is basically explained by Newton's 1st Law - an object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion remains in motion unless acted on by an outside force. You can be moving, but have balanced forces acting on you giving you a net force of 0. The best example is driving down the highway in your car with the cruise control on. The force of the engine propelling you forward is balanced by friction and air resistance pushing you backwards. The result is a net force of 0 and your car not accelerating, but staying at a constant speed

When a force acts on an object, it can result in three possible effects - acceleration, deceleration, or balance (no impact).

The effect of the force can change the following things:

  • size,
  • shape,
  • stationary state,
  • speed and
  • direction of the object.

The force binds all living things together. It can manipulate the weak minded into letting you and your droids go on about your business instead of being arrested.

I'm thinking dark matter and black holes (forces) can bend gravity. I'm sure there's quite a few more.

Which interaction tends to hold the particles in an atomic nucleus together?

That would be the strong nuclear force. It is called the strong force because it is the most powerful of the 4 fundamental forces; typical field strength is 100 times the strength of the electromagnetic force, 1013 times as great as that of the weak force, and about 1038 times that of gravitation, according to Wikipedia. It is also sometimes called the color force, however this has no relation to the visible color we commonly refer to.

What are visible characteristics?

Visible characteristics are characteristics that are visible. Haha no but they are your outside features.

What effects gravity and centripetal combined on the same orbiting path?

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but centripetal force is just a name given to any force that causes circular motion. Swing a rock on the end of a string and the string tension is the centripetal force. Drive a car around a flat circular track and the friction between the tires and the road is the centripetal force. Put a satellite in orbit and gravity is the centripetal force.

What is the force that pushes up on an object in a liquid?

That force is bouyancy. Bouyancy is also present in a gas, but its effects are usually negligible except on objects with very low densities.

What is the range of light called?

The visible spectrum is the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to (can be detected by) the human eye. Electromagnetic radiation in this range of wavelengths is called visible light or simply light.

Why the flow of current is not visible in wire?

flow of electrons is not visible.only it can be sensedAnswerCurrent can only be detected through one or more of its effects. There are three effects of an electric current: heating effect, magnetic effect, and chemical effect. We use the magnetic effect (the force between currents in parallel conductors due to their magnetic effects) to define the ampere.

How does mass effects force?
