Nothing specifically. Inertia is a proprety of matter (as you may know from the Bill Nye the Science Guy intro), and just because there is more mass to an oject doesn't really mean that it would have more inertia. However, other forces such as friction and gravity are spread over an oject, so there would be more friction due to the mass and more downwards force because of gravity + the mass.

Two objects one heavy and one light travel at one of two speeds Which will have the most inertia?

The heavier object will have more inertia regardless of the speed at which they are traveling. Inertia is directly related to an object's mass, with heavier objects having greater inertia compared to lighter objects.

What is inertia and give examples?

Inertia is the tendency of an object to resist changes in its motion. For example, a heavy object is harder to push or stop because it has more inertia. Inertia also explains why objects in motion tend to stay in motion and objects at rest tend to stay at rest unless acted upon by an external force.

Why is it hard to move heavy objects fast?

Moving heavy objects fast requires greater force, which can be difficult to generate quickly. Additionally, overcoming inertia and friction for heavy objects takes more effort and energy. Inadequate grip, balance, or coordination can also make it challenging to move heavy objects quickly without risking injury.

Two objects one heavy and one light travel at one of two speeds. Which will have the most inertia?

The one with the largest mass

What items have the most inertia while at rest?

Inertia is the tendency of an object to continue to move, or stay at rest, unless affected by an externalÊforce. Inertia is related to the mass of an object so objects with greater mass have more inertia.

True or False Lighter objects have less inertia than heavy objects?

True. An object in motion tends to stay in motion, and an object at rest tends to stay at rest.

What is relationship between heavy object and inertia?

an object at rest continues to be at rest ( inertia ) until an outside force is applied to begin motion : an object in motion continues in the same motion ( inertia ) until an opposing force is applied to change the direction ( vector ) or to stop the motion...the weight ( mass ) of the object is directly related to the amount of energy required to be motion, change motion or stop motion....

What is a sentence for inertia?

the ability of an object to resist friction is its inertia

What is relationship between cause and effect?

Cause and effect is a relationship between actions or events, such that one or more are the result of the other or others. Example sentence: The heavy rain caused the flooding. 1. The cause is the "heavy rain". 2. The effect is "flooding" that was caused by the "heavy rain".

Why do objects sink?

objects sink because they are to heavy.

What is the relationship between problem and research?

They used to be hot and heavy but its complicated is what it says on facebook now.
