In our solar system, The farthest planet away from the centre, i.e. the sun is Pluto. However some people argue that Pluto is not an actual planet, but a dwarf planet. In this case, Neptune is the most distant planet.

There are only 4 planets beyond the asteroid belt (since Pluto is no longer considered a planet due to certain characteristics that make it very different to the regular planets). These 4 outer planets (also known as Jovian planets) are as follows: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Of the known planets, the five farthest from the sun are,
in order of increasing average distance

Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Pluto

If you feel uncomfortable including Pluto on a list of planets,
then delete it from the list, and put Mars at the top.
