What are the five main branches of agriculture?

The first branch of agriculture is Agronomy. Agronomy is basically soil management. The second branch is horticulture, which is the cultivation of fruits, veggies, and crops that are considered ornamental. The third branch is agricultural engineering. This branch deals with the equipment used on farms and the creation of new machines. The fourth branch is agricultural economics. This is the business end of farming. The fifth and final branch is animal science - this is the branch that deals with the care and breeding of animals, such as dairy cows.
