Count Olaf or "Captain Sham" (as he calls himself) forces Aunt Josephine to write a note to the Baudelaires saying that she killed herself but really she is hiding in a cave on the other side of the lake.
I really do think that it was Klaus, Sunny, and Violet. We already know that the Antagonist is Olaf and most of the characters in the novel were Olaf.
They kill each other than they say it was count olaf and then mr.poe was the realy minny
when the orphans find out aunt josephine is not dead by decoding the letter and then hurricane herman hits the house
Fear!

It is a series of letters from Beatrice Baudelaire (Kit's daughter) to Lemony, and from Lemony Snicket to Beatrice Baudelaire (the Baudelaires' mother). This book is really good i recommend it to everyone(besides children).
that depends-- who's kit snicket? i barely understood any of the series of unfortunate events. it was so complicated. and i was about 5 when i started the first one, i believe. yeah i bet you were 5 when you started idiot, you probaly couldn't even read Dr. Suess. kit snicket isn't a real person. neither is lemony snicket. lemony snicket is really david handler. he made himself lemony snicket to include himself in the story.
To inform the world the truth about Violet, Klaus and Sunny. Lemony Snicket
Beatrice is the Baudelaire's Mother and she died in the fire that also destroyed the Baudelaire Mansion and Killed The Baudelaire's Father. Lemony Snicket is a pen name and in the story the character 'Lemony Snicket' was once Beatrice's Fiance and is still in love with her
The series of unfortunate events isn't made up- its real. The Baudelaires' are still alive today and research says that they live somewhere in England though the location is unknown. Lemony Snicket/ Daniel Handler wrote the Baudelaire Orphans miserable life story.

No, this story is fictional. Although Daniel Handler (Lemony Snicket) had said that he related it to some things; it was not completely true .

The climax of the story "The Open Window is where Vera chages the subject to another story.
it is not a true story! But if you look up Lemony Snicket (the author) you will find that the characters are based on people he knew. like Count Olaf, when he was younger in middle school, he knew someone named count olaf! do search up lemony snicket on google!

No, and the story is not true. Daniel Handler (Lemony Snicket) is just a really good writer (my favorite, actually), that has a great imagination and style. By the way, the story is supposed to take place in the 1930's, and Daniel Handler is really not that old.
The ones from A Series of Unfortunate Events? If these are the ones that you are talking about, then YES. They are real. And Lemony Snicket is just telling their story. Just believe me!! I'm telling the truth!!
