primarynutrients can be also called macro nutrients which are the essential elements which are used by plants in large amounts, they are COHNPK which is an acronym i remember them with = carbon, oxygen, hydrogen Nitrogen Phosphrus and Potasium they all play diffrent roles in the plants like oxygen which is used for Photorespitation, manythings

Micro-nutriens are the trace elements needed in small quatities wayy smaller than Macronutrients for plant growth.

there is a lot but to name a few: Iron(which is sometimes called a macromolecule as well) Boron, manganese, cobolt and soo on and soo forth. I'm even doing and exam on this tomorrow. :) I'm just reading about it right now.

In the human, the three macronutrients are carbohydrates, proteins and fats. It's a little different in plants, as the macronutrients are divided into 3 classes.

1. Structural macronutrients: carbon, hydrogen, oxygen

2. Primary macronutrients: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium

3. Secondary macronutrients: calcium, magnesium, sulfur

These macronutrients are used in large quantities by the plant. Micronutrients (small quantity) for plants include iron, boron, copper, chlorine and 5 other minerals.

Micronutrients are needed for?

Micronutrients are needed for the proper functioning of every system in the body and are vital for good health.

Which micronutrients are need by plants?

The useful mineral nutrients for plants is NITRATES and PHOSPHATES.

What is the difference between microminerals and macrominerals?

Macronutrients are the nutrients needed by plants in larger quantities like potassium, nitrogen, oxygen, etc. Micronutrients are the nutrients needed by plants in smaller quantities like magnesium and molybdenum.

Do micronutrients fight disease?

Micronutrients are needed in the body in small amounts to provide optimal health. These are known as vitamins and minerals. The micronutrients help the metabolism and cell life cycles complete, regenerate, and function, therefore helping ward off disease.

Why do plants need Micronutrients to grow?

They don't need to but they will appear more healthier and more fuller! I recommend spray and grow from HSN. Plants do ok without micronutrients but if you apply twice a month during spring and summer they will look more green and more health looking.

Why are vitamin and minerals sometimes called micronutrients?

because they are needed in small amounts than other nutrients

Does micronutrients provide the energy that your body uses?

No. Micronutrients are things you need only in tiny amounts (like cobalt or cyanide) , and have no role in energy production EXCEPT that some are needed to allow that energy to be produced at all.

Which provide the energy that your body uses macronutrients or micronutrients?

micronutrients

What are the three micronutrients?

The three micronutrients are vitamins, minerals, and water.

What is the status of micronutrients in Pakistani soil?

Micronutrients are actually abundant in our soils except those which are alkaline and calcareous. The total use of micronutrients in our country is 2-3%.From this you can assess hoe rich our soils are in these nutrients.Alkaline soils restrict the solubility and thus the availability of nutrients to the plants as the nutrients are converted to organic forms again;for instance zinc changes to Zn(OH)2 or ZnO2.
