∙ 13y agoCharlotte Doyle: At first she is very naive and only believes in higher class people like the captain. She knows nothing about the harsher sides of life and is scared. As she becomes a sailor she becomes stronger and is less naive. She grow accustomed to being on a ship and she even begins to fight back against Captain Jaggery.
Andrew Jaggery: Captain of the Seahawk. At first he seems to be a gentleman, someone whom Charlotte is familiar with.But he is actually a cruel, violent person ready to do anything to anyone in order to get to America on time. Towards the end of the book he becomes a little insane.
Zachariah: He is the cook, surgeon, carpenter, and preacher on the Seahawk. He is a kind and caring person towards Charlotte and the crew. But he is also ready to fight back against Captain Jaggery when he really needs to.
Samuel Hollybrass: First Mate on the Seahawk. He is very nervous when serving Captain Jaggery and is very reluctant. He was new to the Seahawk so he ahd no idea of Jaggery's true actions.
