Hi
Two Physical Properties which can be used are
1)Boiling point difference
Water boils at 100C
Ethanol boils at 78.30C
2)Ethanol is lighter than water because its density is less than water.
Density of ethanol =0.789g/ml
Density of water is 1.00g/ml
he physical properties of substances are their boiling point, melting point, density ,solubility etc.
Dr Vidya Kaushik.
-Smell the two, alcohols often have a distinct odor, while water does not.
-Alcohol's boiling point is lower than waters.
-Alcohol's freezing point is very low, it's used as an antifreeze. Cool the two, maybe even put them in the freezer and the one that freezes is pure water.
-Alcohols are also very flammable, take a match to a small quantity of both and the most flammable on is an alcohol.
-Alcohol's specific heat is different from water's. Water's is about 4.184J/gC and ethyl alcohol's is 2.460J/gC, meaning that water will heat up slower than alcohol. using a very, very light fire/heater, warm the two liquids, the one that warms up the fastest is the alcohol.
These are but some.
easiest is using some universal PH paper, water will be less acidic. Otherwise i guess you can do a titration with a suitable indicator and some base.

A physical property of isopropyl alcohol is that it is flammable at room temperature. A chemical property of isopropyl alcohol is it is oxidized by the liver into acetone.
The physical property of rubbing alcohol are:
Water has a boiling point of 100°C, whereas rubbing alcohol (usually isopropyl alcohol) has a boiling point of 82°C.
Some physical properties to distinguish water and rubbing alcohol are: density, color, refractive index, freezing point, boiling point.
everything
Yes it is physical as no new substance is being formed . Molecules are spreading out which still consist of the the same properties
No, rubbing alcohol has oil and isopropyl alcohol in it.
No. Rubbing alcohol is a solution.
Rubbing Alcohol will evaporate at about 37 COr about 98.6 FRubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) will begin to evaporate at temperatures above -175 degrees F. It is a very volatile substance, It evaporates faster at warmer temperatures.
If there is enough liquid, the sugar will dissolve, as rubbing alcohol is a mixture of water (about 30%) with an alcohol. Sugar is soluble in both liquids. * BTW, rubbing alcohol is poisonous. *

Rubbing alcohol evaporates faster than Pepsi.
Chemical.
It is a mixture of denatured alcohol, water and agents added to make the alcohol unpalatable to drink and sometimes colorants. There are two common types of rubbing alcohol, Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol and Ethyl Alcohol Rubbing Alcohol.
