There are many promises that the lord makes in The Bible. To many to discuss, just remember that (from the New Testament) that what ever God done for his children, he will do for you (ex. Abraham, David, etc.) And in the new testament the promises are more specific. Like when Jesus says 'Ask and you shall receive' go to the verses before to see what it is that he want you to do, in order to get it. The same is true in the book of Isaiah and so on. Usually it will say some like "and then you will". The bible Is a wonderful book. It has been the #1 seller every sense I have been born. And if we seek Gods face he promises to give us wisdom.

There is no hate in God. I promise you that.
#1 you would not feel guilty by thinking ha ha on you God. But in the end you MUST promise Him anything. With God you can trust Him and trust yourself with all you have to give and be loved. Love is a thing I promised to God even though I was more to loving my family first. But I soon learned that you can trust God with any promise you have. I learned to do God what is right and with some of my help, God's help and your church's help you can do anything and promise any thing.By the way the promise you can't do......... YOU CAN!!! Don't ever let anything get in your way with a promise to God.
A:For Christians, a promise to God is important because they believe that God holds their ultimate fate and must not be slighted by insincere promises.Even if there is no God, such a promise is a measure of a person's ethics and sincerity, and should be kept.
