Evaporated water usually ends up as Relative Humidity. or air born water due to the fact that it was allowed to evaporate due to the fact that the air was able to take on more water. the higher the RH the harder it is for the water to evaporate

Evaporation describes the process of a transition of states of matter due to heat where a liquid substance vaporizes into a gaseous state. Some scientists also include sublimination as a subset of evaporation in which a solid substance is vaporized into a gaseous state.

During evaporation, it is a common belief that there is an instantaneous moment in time where the substance exhibits properties of both states of matter between which it is transitioning, and considered to be both states at the same time.

Evaporation has the property of phase change, where a liquid absorbs energy at a constant temperature and turns into a gas. The absorbed energy changes the phase (from liquid to gas). Evaporation creates a lot of cooling by absorbing a lot of heat energy.
