The dependent variable.
The distance covered between two points in time is the area under the graph between the two points.
Speed is the distance covered in unit time.
distance time graph is a graph traveled in a graph which shows how much we have traveled in equal period of time.
A distance vs time squared graph shows shows the relationship between distance and time during an acceleration. An example of an acceleration value would be 3.4 m/s^2. The time is always squared in acceleration therefore the graph can show the rate of which an object is moving
The rate of change in velocity in given time. By Suraj Kumar
The slope of the line between two points on the distance/time graph is the same as the average speed during the time interval between those points.
Speed is equal to distance divided by time. In physics there is a formula that shows the relation between time, distance and the speed. That v=d/t . Here v is velocity/speed d is the distance and t is the time
The slope is the change in distance between any two points divided by the change in time between them.
Assuming it's a graph of speed vs time, then between 2 times, the average is the distance (= area under the graph between those times) divided by the time difference.
A distance-time graph shows the movement of an object with respect to time. The average slope between any two points on the graph is equal to the average velocity of the object between those two points. The instantaneous slope (or derivative) at a point on the graph is equal to the instantaneous velocity of the object at that point.
