Yes, they did take a part in it, but it wasn't as strong and as practical as the Arabic algebra which was founded later.
I recommend that you take the Pre-Algebra before taking Algebra I. Taking the Pre-Algebra has a strong potential of helping you understand Algebra I much more easily and much better. A strong background and understanding of Algebra can be the basis for doing very well in later math courses.
Pre-algebra is essentially the basics of algebra. Algebra can be tough for many, so as a way to break the ice, you (ussually) take a pre-algebra course before algebra itself. Algebra is a very large subject, spanning multiple years of courses in most (if not all) schools. After pre-algebra, you have to work with many algebraic equations in the later courses, which cannot be understood without learning the basics that are taught in pre-algebra.
Yes, Muslim scientists did play a crucial role in the development and dissemination of algebra. One of the most influential Muslim mathematicians was Al-Khwarizmi, who wrote a book on algebra called "The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing" in the 9th century. His work introduced algebraic symbols and equations, solving linear and quadratic equations, and providing a foundation for later advancements in mathematics.
algebra is a math subject where you use missing numbers and replace them with leters..there are different levels of algebra but im at an easy level because im only in 7th grade....algebra is important because it could help you later on in life when you need it...you might not know when but you will need it. hope this helps!! :)
Controlled release capsules usually have a coating that causes the medicine to enter the system, instantly, at a later time. Extended release drugs are actually released slowly.

Because as u get into intermdiate and college algebra in college you have to know these things to solve other equations such as setting ur answer to Zero after u get ur factorization answer. Only if you are starting pre-algebra is why someone would be asking this. But if ur already in college algebra and asking this then my answer doesnt apply to you.
