Years ago, there was a children's show on television called "Kukla, Fran and Ollie" in which Kukla and Ollie were the puppets and Fran was the puppeteer. I thought I was too grown up to watch the show so I don't remember many specifics. You might want to do a web search on "Kukla, Fran and Ollie" for details.
It was modeled after "A Christmas Story", written by Jean Shepard and follows the same format as Shepard's short stories. For a second movie about the same family see "Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss" from Disney- hard to find though...
CHUNKY!
