they are all touchy feely and their pupils are dialated... they like furry stuff and they sweat alot. could claime to have a fever after and are very very tired about 5-7 hours after taking it.

Major things to look for would be dilated pupils, sweating, and jaw-clenching/teeth-grinding (bruxism)

Some other effects are lack of appetite, compulsive rubbing of things (sense of touch becomes very pleasurable) nystagmus (wiggling of eyes) and incredibly short attention span.

In reality, the dilated pupils will give it away most of the time.

MDMA & MDA (Ecstacy) have a half-life in the blood steam of about 9 hours. So the average person will be untestable after 72 hours (less than 1%).

Outside appearance of someone who is currently on MDMA/MDA includes, widely dilated pupils, elevated body temperature and accompanying sweat. All other normally attributed "symptoms" can be controlled by will of the user, and should not be used as a measure of current intoxication.
