I have no idea so go ask someone else. The similarities between viroids and prions are that both are acellular pathogens, and do not grow and they differ in the sense that prions do not have nucleic acids while viroids have the nucleic acid,RNA.
These both cause diseases but they have many differences: viroids are
small, circular pieces of RNA with no capsid that infect & cause disease in plants.
while prions are misfolded proteins with no DNA or RNA and these cause nervous system diseases.
Simply put a prion is a pathogen that consists only of protein and only infect animals. while viroids are made only of RNA and only infect plants.
Both Viroids and Prions have nucleic acid, but Viroids have no outer protein coat.
yes
they both doesn't have nucleus Type your answer here...
It is B Prions

I) Prions II) Viroids III) Viruses IV) Archaebacteria V) Eubacteria, and VI) The Protists.
The human rhinovirus, the virus that causes common colds, is the smallest human-infecting virus, with an average diameter of about 30 nanometers. Other viruses such as smallpox are around 10 times larger, at 300 nanometers.
Unlike prions and viroids, viruses consist of two or three parts: all viruses have genes made from either DNA or RNA, long molecules that carry genetic information; all have a protein coat that protects these genes; and some have an envelope of fat that surrounds them when they are outside a cell. Viroids do not have a protein coat and prions contain no RNA or DNA. In short, just say that all viruses have a protein coat and either DNA or RNA.
There are many things considered to microscopic microorganisms. The term organism means that these are alive so viruses, viroids and prions are not part of the group. That leaves bacteria of various sizes and shapes, protozoa and phytoplankton.
Why is so little known about viroids
Acellular particles are basically just particles that aren't made up of cells (aka non-cellular). These include viruses, prions and viroids. Because they aren't made up of cells, they aren't classified as living organisms. They are obviously neither eukaryotic or prokaryotic.
no
Prions, which require an electron microscope to be seen. These are the causative agent in bovine spongiform disease, "mad cow" disease. Their incredibly small size allows them to cross the blood/brain barrier.
