What are the similarities between tigers and jaguars?

The Polar Bear (Ursus maritimus) and the Tiger (Panthera tigris) are carnivores, mammals and belong to the animal kingdom. I believe that the similarities end here, as they are two entirely unrelated animal species.

They are both big cats..The "panther" is another name for leopard or puma..Tigers are much larger than either of these animals.
