May I as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints put forward these steps to baptism. First one must repent of all their known sins before God, in all humility and sincerity. He must know for a surety that God has heard his pleas for forgivness and has received by personal revelation that he has been forgiven. He then goes through the symbolic act of being baptised to show that he comes forth from the water a clean and new person. The procedure for this symbolic act is as follows. The person walks into the water which is sufficiently deep enough for them to be fully immersed. The authorised person who will perform the baptism raises his right arm to the square and says these words "Brother or sister (Calls the person by their full name) Having been commissioned of Jesus Christ I baptise you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, Amen. The person is then placed under the water and brought forth out of the water.
As a point of interest, this does not make the person a member of the church, this is done by the laying on of hands after the baptism.
1) Write letter to parish priest, requesting to be Confirmed.
2) Attend Catechesis classes.
3) Choose a Saint's name.
4) Be Confirmed in the Church.
what is involved in christening
Baptism is considered a community celebration as the church community has to come together to affirm that they will lead the child in the ways of God.
Believe and repent.
Yes, inviting friends and family to the baptism celebration would be quite appropriate. Baptism is a sign of acknowledging Jesus as Lord and Savior, and is worth sharing.
The steps involved in the sacrament of Holy Orders typically include: 1. Discernment and consultation with a spiritual advisor or vocations director. 2. Application and acceptance by the church authorities. 3. Formation and education in theology, scripture, liturgy, and pastoral care. 4. Ordination by a bishop, which confers the grace and authority to carry out sacred duties as a deacon, priest, or bishop.

Not really. The dove is used as a symbol for the Holy Spirit which is very heavily involved in Baptism.
There are no steps in the celebration. Sometimes school districts give teachers a gift, lunch, or a card in their boxes. It is often ignored too. If you want to do something for your teacher make him/her a card.
