If you are a teenager, you can ask your neighbors or family friends that you can babysit their kids when they want to go out. If you have younger siblings, tell your parents you will babysit them for money.

You could also spread the word out through your friends and get babysitting jobs.

You should be a fun babysitter...play games with the kid(s) but you have to be stern when needed make sure you know all the emergency contacts and where everything is in case of an acciendent or emergency.. But you cant forget to be caution for items kids can trip over or infants can swallow. =D

go take the Red Cross babysitting class. It will be a selling point. I would be very careful putting fliers out. You just do not know the type of person who will call you. Only sit for people your parents know. It is safer.
