Best Answer

Some of the best are gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen, etc. Perlite is extremely non-conductive. Ordinary materials like paper, wood and rubber are also relatively poor conductors. Please see the link.

All metals conduct heat. Some of them conduct it better than others, but there aren't any that don't conduct heat at all.

What are three things that do not conduct heat?

Nothing does not conduct heat. If you are asking for three insulators: a coat, rubber, and plastic.

Do nonmetal conduct heat?

No they do not. They keep the heat in. In other words they are Insulators.

Conductors and heaters

Can Iodine conduct heat?

Yes. Basically every metal conducts heat

What is the ability to conduct heat electricity or sound?

The ability to conduct heat or electricity is acutally called conductivity.

Aluminum foil is it a cold conductor?

Things do not conduct cold, they conduct heat. Being a metal aluminum foil is both a good conductor of heat and electricity.

What things conduct heat?

Technically, everything. Any amount of matter will conduct heat as a matter of molecular vibrations. However, heat conduction increases with density and delocalization of bonds (metals are the best conductors, followed by some forms of graphite, then probably some organic molecules, then other molecules, then salts, then lastly rocks and such).

What are the substances that conduct heat are known as what?

They are called good thermal conductors.

What doesnt conduct heat well?

Heat insulation is defined as the resistance to the flow of heat offered by a material when it is subject to a change in temperature. Objects that put up a lot of resistance to heat flow don't conduct heat well, and are called insulators. Some examples of insulators are wood, rubber and glass. Things that do conduct heat well don't offer much resistance to heat flow. Many metals fall into this category, such as aluminum, copper, and gold. See the link below for more information on heat conduction.
