well firstly it is not beingtreated as seriously as it should be, it is air born and highly contagious..... its already a pathogen (bug) that we all carry in our bowel, but certain circumstances will set it off poor hygiene, illness, old age when admitted to hospitals with bad hygiene bed bound elderly but even younger people when using hospitals facility's or being in the company of someone who has it, and not using barrier nursing methods..... OK so wots it like honestly there's a distinctive smell to it that is in a class of its own, the slightest wiff and you want to vomit from the smell, and the amount of faeces that come out of a person is overwhelming like having buckets full of faeces thrown over u and it`s on going all the time less it is brought under control... the faeces looks like mince meet with lots of water when its very bad.

then it goes to being more like non stop thick or watery diaohorria its very difficult to control and once activated will never go away it just lays dormant if gotten under control, and the way to do that is to make sure that the only two antibiotics that calm it down are given then a re-test must be demanded as it is not common practise to do so as it is so wide spread, the NHS are over whelmed

But demand retesting majority of c-diff cases will need treating with both the antibodies several times, then when it is under control any future ailments requiring meds must be checked that they are not ones that will aggravate the dormant c-diff..... always check and ask yourself, as a lot of doctors are making the mistake of giving meds to ex ci-diff patients and starting the bug off again,

then there's the risk in delayed treatment which the longer it is left in any circumstances causes death, even if it is caught in time and treated the patient will be suffering terrible pain and mind confusion ,this can be helped by keeping a good quality diet plenty to drink, lots of fibre foods like porridge to help scrap the bug down and out the bowel wall. other ways of control wash bedding etc in biological powder as it contains bleach and try adding chlorine bleach comes in powder form hospitals use it, and add pine disinfectant and wash on the highest temp , boiling like a 95 degree and tumble dry on the hottest but remember to run the washing machine on empty afterwards with disinfectant to flush the bug from the machines sump, and clean items around the house the same way....... at first though before it becomes under control you may find that bedding etc has to be burnt or thrown away.
