- Two kidneys which filter water-soluble waste from the blood
- Two ureters which send the urine from the kidneys to the bladder
- The bladder which collects urine before it is expelled from the body
- The urethra which is a tube connecting the bladder to the genitals
- Two sphincter muscles which allow for regulation and control of the excretion process
