the main organs in a plant include roots, leaves, stems and branches Organs of plants can be divided into vegetative and reproductive. Vegetative plant organs are root, stem and leaf. The reproductive organs are variable. In angiosperms, they are represented with the flower, seed and fruit. In conifers, the organ that bears the reproductive structures is called a cone. In other divisions of plants, the reproductive organs are called strobili (in Lycopodiophyta) or simply gametophores (in mosses). The vegetative organs are essential for maintaining the life of a plant (they perform the vital functions, such as photosynthesis), while the reproductive organs are essential in reproduction. But, if there is asexual vegetative reproduction, the vegetative organs are those which create the new generation of plants (see clonal colony). The two main organ systems in vascular plants are the root system and the shoot system. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organ_(anatomy)

Mainly, there are only two types of cell: vegetative cells and reproductive cells. Vegetative cells are any cells in the body that do not participate in the production of gametes. They multiply by the process known as mitosis. Reproductive cells, also called gametes, increase their numbers through meiosis. Following that line of thought, we need vegetative cells... a lot. They clot our wounds and 'regenerate' our skin. The stuffs that girls talk about, like lotion, is an example. They seems to 'rejuvenate' our skin, sort of like that because cells forms tissue. So their production rate is higher than those of the gametes. Gametes cells seems to reproduce faster when puberty is reached. Correct me if I'm wrong. I love to be corrected. I took biology last year and that's as far as my brain cells would allow me.

There are two classifications of Organ systems. The vegetative and reproductive part. Under the vegetative parts are the leaves, stems and roots. While flower is under the reproductive part.
There are two types of cell division-mitosismeiosisThe difference in between them is that mitosis takes place in vegetative cells while meiosis in reproductive cells.

Soybeans have two different stages of growing, the vegetative stage and the reproductive stage. The vegetation stage is how the soybeans grown once they are in the soil. The reproductive stage is when they are ready to start a new cycle of plants.
