I'm not sure why the questioner limits the number of processes of evolution to just two. It is well known that populations can change due to migration, mutation, genetic drift (small populations), natural selection, and non-random mating. Any of these, alone or in combination, can result in changes in allele frequencies in populations (i.e. in evolution).
