Combination Reactions are those in which two or more reactants combine to give only one product. Only those combination reactions are redox reactions in which minimum one of the reactants is in the elemental form.
Like-
H2 + Cl2 ---> 2HCl

if u take an atom and smash it into another atom it will be known as a combination reaction, a reaction is considered 1. A combination reaction is considered more than 1.
