plate tectonics, erosion, weathering , and sediment deposits I'm not sure about the sediment deposits but i think it's right and i know that the rest are right.
someone tell me the answer please.......................make it quick
Deposition, Earthquakes, and Volcanic Eruptions.
weathering, erosion, and plate tectonics
the sediments break into pieces together
They can be formed from-
Weathering
Erosion
Transportation
deposition
All these processes make up a whole other process that helps to form landforms, Weathering is the breakdown of rocks due to the action of rainfall or temperature change or biological action, this can be or happen physically, Chemically, or biologically. Physically means it can occur when water is continually freezing. the water begins to crack rocks and eventually the rock cracks apart. Chemically is when some rocks such as limestone contains chemicals that react in various ways when in contact or exposed to water. Biological is when living organisms such as algae produce chemicals that ca breakdown rocks
Erosion is the process whereby soil and rocks are worn away and moved by either wind, water or ice. Transportation is the process that moves the eroded material to a new location. And deposition is when the moved material comes to a stop and overtime new landforms are made. And all this is how landforms are made.
weathering
it can create new landforms
Erosion and Weathering
give three reasons why landforms are important to our environment
Are you thinking of "plate tectonics"? This process changes landforms, but doesn't create them. The only process that creates land is volcanic outflow.
water ,wind ,waves , sand, and erosion create landforms.
Even when two landforms are far apart, the same types of processes that create and affect landforms apply.
Landforms do not create tornadoes. Tornadoes are a product of severe thunderstorms.
weathering
divergent, convergent, and transform are the types of forces that create landforms
Neither. Geomorphology is the name given to the science or the study of landforms and their formation. The processes that create landforms may be constructive (e.g. sedimentation / mountain building etc.) or destructive (such as the formation of valleys by glaciation) however.
Canyons
They can create new things and landforms
The three major landforms are ALPS is North of Italy
Volcanism is the internal force that helps create new landforms.
Having an interest in landforms and their processes.
No, certainly not. Geological processes are slowly changing everything.
