Science uses logic and rational thought in order to comprehend the natural world. Scientific theories are based on evidence found to support the theory. Scientific laws are basically completely accepted by the scientific community, while scientific theories still have gaps in the logic, or not enough proof that the theory is completely true. Basically, the essential feature of science is the use of logic and reasoning based on experiments that can be recreated. These features can prove without a doubt that the proposed idea is either true or false. If science cannot prove that something is true, then the other methods to try and understand the natural world cannot either.
