Of course many things could be said of Mormons, but here are the first three that came to mind:

1. "Mormons" are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are over 14 million "Mormons" around the world, all from different cultures and backgrounds.

2. Mormons tend to be very kind and helpful people. Studies have shown that most Mormons tend to be higher educated, have larger families, be more active in their community, provide more community service, and live longer healthier lives than the average American.

3. Mormons say they are Christian because they believe Jesus Christ is their Savior and that The Bible is the Word of God, however, they do not agree with many traditional Christian ideas (such as the Trinity) and therefore do not consider themselves Catholic or Protestant.

What are things can be said about the Mormons?

Of course many things can be said about Mormons. Here are just a few: *"Mormons" are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. *There are over 14 million baptized Mormons around the world. *Mormons claim to be Christian because they believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior and that the Bible is the Word of God. However, they do not agree with many other traditional Christian doctrines and therefore do not consider themselves Catholic or Protestant. *Mormons come from all backgrounds, races, and cultures. Most Mormons tend to be higher educated, have larger families, be more involved in the community, and more active in their congregations than the typical American. *Mormons are very excited to share their faith and belief with others. They have over 50,000 traveling missionaries, extensive web resources, and open their worship services to the public so that anyone interested can learn about them. Why do Mormons feel that Israel has the right to kill Palestineans?

They don't. That might be the opinion of a few Mormons, but not most Mormons. The Church itself has said nothing on the matter. Mormons are encouraged to form their own political opinions.

What were Mormons role in the gold rush?

The Mormons played quite a lage role in the gold rush. Their settlements in Utah served as a rest stop and trading post for those heading to California. Some historians have said that without the Mormons, the gold rush could not have been successful, and without the gold rush, the Mormons could not have been successful. The Mormons needed money and supplies from the east, and those heading to California needed food, supplies, and advice about living and traveling in the west. It was a welcome trade for both parties.

Are Mormons against metaphysics?

The doctrines and teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) do not correlate with those of metaphysics. That is, you could not honestly believe in both metaphysics and Mormonism. That being said, Mormons are not 'against' metaphysics. It is a fundamental belief of Mormons that all people should have the freedom to believe and worship as they choose. Mormons recognize metaphysics as a legitimate belief system, just one which they don't personally believe in. Mormons are welcome to study and learn about metaphysics if it interests them.
