In Christianity:

God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit are 1 God with different roles. For example, a man can be different roles. He can be a son, a father, a worker at some job, helper to the needy, etc. He can have many roles but still be one man.

God has 3 parts to Himself. He is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent.

There is only ONE way to salvation, through accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior buy asking Him to come into your heart and forgive you of all your sins and save you. If you do, the Bible says you will go to Heaven when you die, if you don't the Bible says you will go to Hell and suffer for all eternity.

The Bible is God's God-breathed, Infallible, Unchanging Word from God Himself, that He gave to mankind to know how to live his life. The Holy Spirit breathed it. He lead holy men to write it.

It is appointed ONCE for man to die, after that comes the judgment.

Once you are given life, you will live on somewhere in eternity, either Heaven or Hell.

Jesus gave a parable of a man that was filthy rich when he lived on Earth. He wanted for nothing. There was this very poor man who sat near this man's home everyday. He was sick and had sores and really in a bad way in life. He did not even have food or water to drink. This poor man begged the rich man for help. But the rich man would not help him at all.

One day the poor man and the rich man both died.

The poor man died and woke up in Abraham (from the Bible in Genesis)'s bosom. He was finally comforted.

The rich man died and woke up in hell. He was terribly tormented day and night. He had no more comfort. He was hot as hell, and thirsty and he could see the poor man in Abraham's arms. He asked Abraham to send the poor man to give him some water.

He was denied, just as he denied that poor man in life. Now in death the rich man was being denied what he needed.

There is a big gulf that separates Hell from Heaven and no one can cross it to go back and forth.

So the rich man wanted to go back to life to warn his brothers of Hell and torment waiting people. But he was not able to do that. He was told that the brothers have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in hell, with no relief, forever and ever and ever and ever, to no end.

God will have to wipe away the tears of people in Heaven because people they love who did not get around to accepting Jesus as Savior are or will be roasting in Hell's torment with the demons tormenting them. God will not be able to help them then.

That is why He says TODAY if you hear His voice DON'T HARDEN your heart.

That is TODAY if you understanding the GOSPEL (good news), then DON'T PUT IT OFF! Accept him TODAY, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

When Jesus was on the cross, dying for the sins of entire human beings, 2 other men where also being crucified, one of the thieves rebuked the other for bothering Jesus. That one asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus came into His Paradise (Heaven). Jesus told that man, "THIS DAY, you will be with me in Paradise. So one went to Heaven and one those thieves went to Hell.

Jesus went to Hell too, but only to get the people who died in faith before He came to Earth to pay the price for sin (which is death). Jesus lead captivity captive, he got the keys of death from the devil (Satan, Beelzebulb and host of other names the devil has). He took the sting out of death for everyone. He brought out people like Abraham, Issac and Jacob, Joseph, all those people who died believing God would send Jesus. They all are in Heaven, along with every other Christian who believed in Him and accepted Him as their Savior.

To be absent from the body (Death) is to be present with the Lord (Jesus) in Heaven. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God the Father on Throne. He ever lives to make intercessions for the saints. He is the go between (Propitiation) between God and mankind. Every since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, everyone else born in the human race became sinners. They disobeyed God and brought sin into the world. Before this, they lived happily in Paradise on Earth-in the Garden of Eden, which is where we all would have lived and Jesus would not have had to die on the Cross and raise again (Resurrection Sunday, ie Easter). If they had continued to obey God, we all would be enjoying the good life. By one man (Adam) sin came into the world and by One Man (Jesus Christ) sin was PAID IN FULL. Now NO ONE has to go to Hell, they have a choice, because of what Jesus did.

The devil comes only to steal, to kill and to destroy. That is his mission in life. To cause problems for humans, to steal our blessings God has for us in life, and to kill us if we let him. The devil hates humans. He hates God with a passion. Every since the devil was Lucifer, son of the morning in Heaven, he used to be in charge of the choir. He was beautiful. One day Lucifer decided he wanted to be worshiped, instead of worshiping God. Lucifer said that he would be like the Most High (El-Elyon). God told him he would not and kicked him and 1/3 of the angels who fell with him out of Heaven. Every since then he has been reeking havoc on people and the Earth. One day he will be cast into the lake of fire with his demons who fell as angels.

God will share His glory with NO ONE. He is a Jealous God.

God has many Names, some of which are

El Elyon, El Shaddai, Jehovah, Jehovah Jireh, to name a few. Each one means different things. Jesus and The Holy Spirit have other names too.

One day God will give each one of us a new name. Just as He changed other people's names. Like Jacob to Israel, Saul of Tarsus to Paul, Abram to Abraham, Sarai to Sarah, etc.
