Who is The first graffiti artist?

There was a recent exhibition (sponsored by Royal Elastics) which hosted a huge group of graffiti based artists. This group included: Jersey Joe, Fate Venem, Mr Cartoon, Doze Green, Ron English, The Grime, Aaron Horkey, Chaz Bojorquez, Victor Chapa/Reyes and Stormie Mills.

Two famous graffiti artists are Cope2 and Phetus. They have both been graffiti artists since the early 80's, and they have both gone on to design clothing for celebrities and major brands, comic books like Concrete Immortalz, toys and fine art.

One of my all time favorite graffiti artists is Phetus. He's been hot around the scene since 1988 and has a real cool, authentic street art vibe.
