Usually they get argumentative because they don't like being told to do something. They get lazy and want to stay in bed longer and longer. They are inclined not to tidy their own room. They push for longer hours away from home and usually break the agreement anyway. Some become more dirty and don't change their clothes very often and smell whilst others may be extra clean and spend much longer in the bathroom. Homework can get left undone. They can get very rude and annoying. They like to be different from their parents and find it embarrassing being seen out with them. They may bring friends home that you don't approve of. They get confused about things but will not ask for help.
They begin masturbation while in puberty, their room becomes private to them and their friends.
