Many students are tempted to cheat because they think they can get away with it - and some do, for awhile. They think the benefit is that they get a better grade without actually working. Students get NO benefits from cheating. Cheating results in the student not learning how to:

  1. study
  2. memorize
  3. read and comprehend content
  4. discipline themselves to learn
  5. develop their own thoughts
  6. to write their own thoughts
  7. defend their own thoughts in writing or spoken form
  8. to study independently the next time
  9. to be curious enough to want to learn
  10. and when caught, to suffer a failing grade plus embarrassment and other consequences.
