In that particular operation, a Belgian Shepherd dog (Malinois) named Cairo was with the units during Operation Neptune Spear, which killed Bin Laden.
The Belgian Malinois is quickly becoming the preferred dog for U.S. and other countries' Special Forces. Easily trained and hard working, they are trained to parachute in along with their handler.
