for first time owners the smaller rabbits are better like the mini lops.
but a big angora, or a California rabbit are nice but they are really big
you should think about the size of your living space because all rabbits need s[ace to raun around and be the crazy poopers that they are!
A small rabbit that is not hyper is best for a first time rabbit raiser. Consider the mini lop, havana, Florida white or something along that line. Although quite cute, small rabbits like Netherland dwarf, polish and tans are too hyper for a first time rabbit breeder OR small children.
Small breeds are very good beginner's pet. The most well known, friendly breed of rabbit is the Dutch rabbit. They don't nip at all and they are easy to take care of. Most rabbits are also very tidy and clean. They use the toilet in the corner of their cages. The Dutch rabbit will listen obediently. Definitely consider the Dutch rabbit!
Well Flemish giants are pretty good and so are Silver Martens. I know because I have a Silver Marten and he is the sweetest bunny in the world. He will cuddle and kiss you (lick you) and play with you. If I were to give you a recommendation, I would recommend a Silver Marten. Hope I helped :)
Most of the breeds are great house pets. It depends on you--how much room do you have, how often are you likely to play with the rabbit (honestly answer this...there are some breeds that do much better on their own than others), what is your preference for a male or female (some breeds have vast differences between the sexes).
a mini lop they are friendly and playful.t No they are not mini they are acually bigger than a regular lop
Any rabbit. Although if your a beginner you should get a lop eared rabbit! They are gentle. Just don't pull its ears!
Dutches are very good with children and adults as are mini lops. Consider getting one from a shelter.
i think a mini-lop
Holland Lops are a popular breed and are great for beginner rabbit keepers or children. However their are some other popular breeds and i would suggest going to a local vet, pet store, or rabbit farm.
There is no breed of rabbit that doesn't die easily if it isn't properly cared for. See the related questions below for information about pet rabbit care and behaviour.
No, you can even have her spayed so she makes a better pet.
I don't get your question. But, you can crossbreed your rabbit with any other rabbit. They just need to be the right age and gender.
Personally I think the best rabbit for a child is a Dwarf, as they are small and easy to handle.
The Netherland Dwarf Rabbit is a recognized rabbit breed in ARBA. It is the smallest breed of rabbit known in ARBA. Many pet stores claim that their rabbits are dwarf rabbits, but they are actually mixed breeds and can grow to be pretty big.
Any rabbit! But the most popular rabbit breeds are Holland Lop, Jersey Wooly, and/or Netherland Dwarf Rabbit!
