I think GIF can do small video type movements that JPG cannot.

There are no motion or animated files saved under .jpg. All animated images are saved under .gif
GIF, JPG, and PNG files can be supported by DEVIENTart. They do not accept Flash or GIF files. They also reserve the right to refuse any submissions.
.gif is one of many image supporting file formats. So if you have a .gif reading application you'll see pictures, often in motion. Another popular image supporting format is .jpg. My personal experience is that files with .jpg extension tend to be larger (longer) than the .gif files.
JPG, GIF, and PNG as they are already compressed files
I don't believe that is possible, because JPEG files are still images. If you were tp convert a GIF image into a JPG image, it will no longer be animated.
The most popular image/graphics file formats are: .Jpg, .PNG, and .Gif. PNG and Jpg are normal images while .Gif files can be short animated images.
JPG's not too bad but GIF is terribly lossy
Yes. You can use them as 2 images in an animated gif. To do it you need an image editor that supports animated gifs.
In terms of Photoshop that are .jpg, png, .gif file formats.
