black body absorption phenomenon...guys
Because black is defined as the absorbtion of all colours (wavelengths.) The different frequencies which are different colours have an associated energy level to them. None are reflected when they hit a black surface and so that surface absorbed the energy. To contrast this, white is the opposite. It reflects wavelengths and so it doesn't absorb a lot of energy.
Not specifically. Something black, however, will absorb radiant energy faster than something white, so that would make it seem that black (materials) melt faster than white (materials).
every color absorbs heat ... but white absorbs less heat ...and black colour absorbs more heat ..
The salt will absorb the mummy's oil within 40 days. I am still trying to absorb today's lesson.
Bonds in molecules absorb light, In black the bonds absorb a lot of visible light frequencies. As black only reflects few frequencies of visible light. it gains it black colour.
Black absorbs radiation. A perfectly black body would absorb all the radiation that is incident upon it.
Black surfaces absorb all light. White surfaces do not "reflect black" as there's no such thing as black light.
They absorb light which is converted into heat energy
Actually, any black object will absorb sunlight - that's why we see it black, because less visible light is reflected.
cause there black
Black
A black shirt will absorb more sun than a white shirt will
white objects reflect heat while black objects absorb it
Black absorbs light more.
Black.
