I would be very carefull what I put with a Black Ghost Knife Fish. If a fish is small enough to fit in its mouth them it will be eaten. Bettas are a nice little morsel for them. I guess fully grown Angels, Discus, Plecostomus etc would be OK. Don't forget some of these knife fish can get BIG around 24 inches. That means a big tank and a big mouth to feed.
I have medium sized community tank that contains an Angelfish who is about 4-5 inches long and a Ghost knife about same size and dont seem to encounter any problems
I have a 125 gallon tank with many fish. My ghost knife was about 9 inches when he was introduced to my tank. I had become interested in angels and had about 5 die. From what i understand, the frequencies they two give off dont work well together. All of my angels eyes were eaten out, and soon enough died. There are some cases where i guess they do well together. Maybe introduce the knife last.
These fish grow large and are not social animals so unless you have a very large tank I would not advise you to put two together.

It is possible if the tank is sufficient in size and provides enough territories and enclosures.
You can knife them or after a certain amount of damage with guns they will go down.
