Im not a doctor or anything, but I do know it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT not to eat before any major surgery when anesthesia is involved, which is commonly used with wisdom teeth extractions. I believe it is because something goes on with your stomache while you are under the anesthesia, and sometimes the food can come back and you choke on it, but since youre under you cant exactly choke so it blocks your windpipe..im not completely sure. But I do know your surgeon doesnt just say things so he will sound smart, it is for YOUR HEALTH. If you havnt followed the doctors orders completely, it is not wise to have your planned surgery, and you should let your surgeon know.
You can eat bread and soup, mashed potatoes and gravy, yorghut,,,,,basically foods that require less on chewing at all for the first week. Don't starve yourself :)
I was told not to eat 6 hours before surgery or else the anesthesia might make you puke up anything you ate or drank within those 6 hours.
You'll be fine as long as you rinse your mouth out thoroughly with the wash they give you and the syringe. But I still wouldn't do it because it hurts like heck.
yes
u got your wisdom teeth pulled out dummy
Ask your dentist, but usually not because liquor can thin the blood.
Jana and Jill had their wisdom teeth removed.
Yes
they are slimy because you are a complete idiot
I don't know if it's OK. I have braces myself and my wisdom teeth are coming in right now. Unfortunatly, I have to get them pulled, if anything that's what would happen. You should wait until the wisdom teeth come in, and then get them pulled, because the metal bands may not fit around the wisdom teeth, and most people have more comfort when their wisdom teeth are pulled. I have braces and my wisdom teeth came through and my otho hasn't done anything to them.
