With a psychrometer a person can measure humidity, or the water vapor content of the air. It has two glass thermometers. One thermometer is known as a wet bulb and the other is known as a dry bulb. The wet bulb is saturated in water before use. After spinning the instrument around, the dew point and relative humidity can be found with the use of wet and dry bulb tables.
