The puppies eyes should not be open quite yet. A 3 week old puppy would not be able to walk well on its own. A 3 week old puppy will still need the milk from its mother and will not be weaned until it is about 6 weeks old.

∙ 13y agoWell 4 week old puppies can barely walk so I'm afraid you can't really play with them. But if you're really desperate you can try and make them bite a stick or rope and play tug-of-war; but watch out, they are really weak!

∙ 10y agoThey really need no playthings except their mom and their siblings. A squeaky toy that can safely be chewed on or a bright yellow ball to push around might be appreciated by some of the more adventurous pups. Make sure that any toy you give these youngster is too big to be swallowed and cannot be torn into small pieces. Do not use any toys made in China, as these products often have high lead levels.
